This past week, ONLYCHILD Magazine visited the newest exhibit shown at All Street NYC @all.st.nyc , a bustling space known for alternative art, creative productions, and community gatherings. Among the artists is Pepe Leyte, an upcoming painter in NYC who showed a few works from his series "Chalk on Canvas". He spoke with ONLYCHILD Magazine, stating "They're really about immediacy. I was thinking about composition, specifically how the negative space relates to the painted space. The objects are purposefully not interacting and quite simple in the way they're depicted. It is not about the objects, but rather how they relate to each other spatially on the canvas."
